Rep. Tim and Mrs. Amanda Ozinga
Tim Ozinga is State Representative in Illinois' 37th House District. Elected to Illinois’ 102
nd General Assembly. Tim and his wife, Amanda Kamp Ozinga (Class of 2005), have four girls that all attend our Tinley Park campus. Their family worships at Calvary Church-Orland Park.
Tim is co-owner and Executive Vice President of Mokena-based Ozinga Bros. Inc., a fourth-generation family-owned American company specializing in ready-mix, energy, logistics, and construction materials operating in five states.
The company employs over 2,500 with over 1,000 union members. The company is known for its iconic red and white striped concrete mixers. Tim is the son of former congressional candidate Marty Ozinga III.
An active member of his community, Tim has served on the Village of Mokena's Economic Development Commission and its Technology Committee. From 2019 to 2020, Tim served on the Mokena Community Park District Board of Commissioners.
After attending Chicago Christian High School, Tim attended Moraine Valley Community College, and then he transferred to Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights where he earned a bachelor's degree in business management and political science. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Evanston and completed the executive education program at Harvard Business School.
